Bedtime Bible Get the app

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Bedtime Bible is made by Lucky Future LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information the app and this website handle and what we do with it. The short version: your family's information stays on your device, we collect a small amount of anonymous usage data to make the app better, and we never sell data.

Who we are

Lucky Future LLC is the maker of Bedtime Bible and the data controller for any information described in this policy. You can reach us any time at hello@bedtimebiblekids.com.

Information that stays on your device

When you set up the app you can add your children's first names and ages so stories can match who's listening. This information, along with your reading streaks, badges, reminder time, and reading history, is stored only on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.

Information we collect

We collect anonymous usage analytics through PostHog: events like "app opened" and which screens are used, tied to a random identifier that does not identify you or your children. We use this to understand which features help families and which need work. You can read PostHog's privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.

We use AppsFlyer to measure, in aggregate, which advertising led people to install the app. On iPhone this uses Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework, which reports campaign results without identifying individual users. You can read AppsFlyer's privacy policy at appsflyer.com.

The app includes a consent system. Where Apple's App Tracking Transparency applies, analytics and attribution respect your answer to the system prompt. On the web, we honor the Global Privacy Control signal. When consent is missing, these services are switched off.

We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, photos, location, or any information about your children. We do not sell data, we do not share personal information for cross-context advertising, and we do not show third-party ads.

This website

bedtimebiblekids.com is a static site. It does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party trackers. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us, and we use it only to reply.

Subscriptions

Payments are processed by Apple. We never see your name, address, or payment details. Apple's handling of your payment information is described in Apple's own privacy policy. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules one daily reminder on your device at the time you choose. This happens entirely on your device. Turn it off any time in the app or in iPhone Settings.

Children's privacy

Bedtime Bible is designed for parents and caregivers to use together with their children. The app does not create accounts, has no social features, no chat, and no ads. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The names and ages you enter during setup exist only on your device and are never transmitted. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, email hello@bedtimebiblekids.com and we will delete it.

How long we keep information

We have no accounts, so there is no profile of you to keep. Anonymous analytics events are retained by our analytics provider only as long as we need them to understand how the app is used, and they cannot be traced back to your family. Everything personal lives on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because we do not hold personal information about you, most of these rights are fulfilled the moment you delete the app from your device. If you want to exercise any right, ask a question, or lodge a concern, email hello@bedtimebiblekids.com and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

For California residents: we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.

International transfers

Our service providers may process the anonymous data described above on servers in other countries, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Security

The best protection is collecting almost nothing, which is our approach. The little that does travel (anonymous analytics events) is sent over encrypted connections.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app. Questions: hello@bedtimebiblekids.com.
